Trump's Granddaughter Seeks Expert Advice from Golf Legend Woods Ahead of Professional Golf First Appearance

Emerging athlete preparing for significant competition

The rising star maintains considerable social media following

Kai Trump can count on plenty of high-profile supporters as she makes her LPGA debut later this week.

The 18-year-old athlete, who happens to be the granddaughter of a former US president, obtained a special exemption to participate at the Annika tournament in Florida.

Her grandfather, an avid golfer, operates numerous courses worldwide and often plays against his granddaughter.

"He's quite skilled. I shouldn't elaborate but we play competitive games," she mentioned.

The golfer shared that Trump, who cannot attend, told her: "Simply stay calm."

"He basically told me to play and relax," she continued.

"In my eyes, he's simply a normal grandpa. He can't make it this weekend. He's focused on running the country, making him rather occupied."

Being non-professional, the golfer has participated in just three tournaments recently and has the 461st position in AJGA listings.

However she can receive tips from 15-time major champion, in a relationship with Vanessa.

"He is the greatest golfer in the world," Kai expressed.

"Furthermore, he's an even better human being. He advised me to play, have fun, following the flow."

The golfer will compete against several top competitors in women's golf at the Annika, such as second-ranked the champion, England's golfer Hull, professional Thompson and last year's winner champion Vu.

Tournament organizers commented that Kai's presence helps introduce golf to wider groups, particularly with youth audiences.

The social media influencer has millions of followers and recently launched her own clothing and lifestyle label.

She begins at late afternoon GMT.
