She did say the person involved was the parent of her kids, and reports indicate she has kids with the football player, whom the Chiefs selected in the second round. Rice's Recent Legal Issues The receiver was absent for the first six games of this season following an NFL suspension for his role in causing a multi-vehicle accident on a Dallas highway that resulted in multiple people hurt. Rice was sentenced a month of incarceration and probationary supervision after pleading guilty to felony charges. Statistically, Rice concluded the season with 53 receptions for 571 receiving yards and five touchdowns as the Chiefs went 6-11 and missed the playoffs for the first occasion in a decade.
